Minimum Technology Requirements

Reliable, up-to-date technology is an essential component for all distance education courses (hybrid, online synchronous, online asynchronous, and hyflex). In order to maintain quick and efficient online operation, Delaware Tech recommends the minimum technological requirements for your device that are provided below.

Important Note: Delaware Tech does not support personal devices. The links and information on this page are to help you troubleshoot difficulties you may be having with your personal device. All Delaware Tech Online courses require a reliable connection to the Internet. You are responsible for setting up your own connection to the Internet. If your device does not meet or exceed the minimum requirements listed below, our online educational software may run slowly or not at all on your system.

Verify you meet the minimum computer specifications hardware requirements
Verify you have the appropriate Web browsers installed
Verify you have the software and hardware necessary to participate in video and web conferencing courses
Verify with you instructor if there are any additional technologies necessary to participate in the course
