D2L Updates

New Assignment Tool

  • You will want to opt-in to the new Assignment Creation Experiences. The create and edit Assignments page has an updated look and feel. The classic tabbed view has been transformed into a new, fully immersive page layout. Watch this video from D2L. In the August release, additional features include the ability to attach release conditions and select a default rubric.
  • Instructors can now copy existing assignments. Select the Copy Assignment option in the drop-down menu for an existing assignment to quickly create new assignments. This action copies all settings of an existing assignment except the associated grade item.
