Success Stories

Using Interactive Learning Objects
for Course Engagement

“Using interactives within a class, especially a class that usually has hands-on labs but is now 100% virtual, is a great way to deepen student understanding of a key concept.  Students’ ability to transfer what is covered in lecture to the lab is often a challenge, and interactives can help to bridge this gap.  Interactives require students to take what they have learned in lecture (on paper) and truly apply their knowledge to a real world simulation/problem.” – Charlene Kemmerle

Charlene has created and included several interactive learning objects for her course and shared them with other course instructors as well.
