New Quiz Evaluation Feature in D2L’s Brightspace

Instructors now have the option to attach rubrics to written response quiz questions, making grading more efficient and feedback more consistent. This feature provides easy access to rubrics, either within the quiz or through a separate pop-out window, enabling instructors to evaluate responses with greater clarity. Check out this brief tutorial video to see how to use this feature in the New Quiz Experience.

The rubric appears in the quiz window for the written response question.

Students also benefit from this improvement, as they can view the rubric while taking the quiz, understand how their answers will be assessed, and review comprehensive feedback after grading. This update not only saves time but also promotes fair and transparent grading for everyone.
