Update your Syllabus Link before Fall!
Did you know that the new Curriculum Management System, Watermark, creates new syllabi links each academic year? This means you must update the links in your D2L courses before the start of each Fall semester. Since the syllabus is an essential part of the LMS minimum usage requirements, April has created this 5 Minute Sound Byte to help you update the links in your courses:
Optimizing High-Quality
Digital Learning Experiences:
A Playbook for Faculty
It can be difficult to create high-quality digital learning experiences that are built on providing equitable, inclusive, accessible learning environments for all students. To create these high-quality digital learning experiences, they need to be intentionally designed to align to the course learning objectives.
Optimizing High-Quality Digital Learning Experiences: A Playbook for Faculty aims to guide faculty in thinking and designing strategically to amplify the opportunities the online environment provides in both their digital spaces and physical classrooms.
Free Jamboard Templates
Want a fun way for students to collaborate and share in your courses? Jamboard is a free interactive whiteboard tool that allows you and your class to collaborate in a variety of ways with text, images, sticky notes, and a pen tool. Adding a background image to a Jamboard, makes it even easier for students to participate by providing a structure for the discussion. The below link has several hundred FREE Jamboard templates to create custom collaborative interactions for your courses.
